Soft Tissue Techniques
Soft Tissue Techniques such as massage targets muscles, tendons, ligaments or other corrective tissue such as facia. It helps with pain reduction, decreasing healing time, releasing chronic muscle tension, reducing inflammation, improving range of movement and improving oxygen flow.
Dry Needling is the insertion of sterile acupuncture needles directly into myofascial trigger points. Trigger points are tight, tender knots within the muscle which cause and contribute to pain within the body. Studies have confirmed that myofascial pain is one of the most commonly ignored causes of persistent pain. This therapy may be offered as part of your treatment.
Sports injuries differ to everyday injuries as athletes require a high level of performance and demand placed on their bodies. If you are looking to return to sport after an injury you will be rehabilitated by Paddy to an exceptionally high standard to decrease the risk of reoccurrence.
